Ya se acerca fin de año, y junto a las fiestas viene uno de los eventos más importantes de la industria, The Game Awards 2021. La ceremonia se celebrará el próximo 9 de diciembre en el Microsoft Theater de Los Ángeles, y hoy se presentaron todos los nominados. Geoff Keighley, el anfitrión del evento, dejó caer que se van a mostrar juegos nuevos, avances y muchas sorpresas.
Comparando las categorías de este año con las de 2020, podemos ver que “Mejor debut” pasó a llamarse “Mejor debut indie” sumando un segundo premio dedicado exclusivamente a los juegos independientes, se removió “Mejor host de eSports”, y se sumó “Juego más anticipado”, dejando cinco premios dedicados a los deportes electrónicos y arrojando aún más carbón al tren del hype.
