La semana pasada te contamos que Ethereal y Tango: The Adventure Game, ambos juegos argentinos, habían sido distinguidos por los Independent Games Festival, los premios a las producciones indies que se reparten en el marco de la GDC. Pero hoy toca contarte los títulos nominados a los Game Developers Choice Awards.
Estos premios son realmente especiales, porque los ganadores y nominados los elige la propia industria de videojuegos. El público acá no tiene nada que ver. Por lo que no van a ver ganadores que dependan, en general, de la popularidad, sino más bien con la calidad de la producción.
Por eso no resulta extraño que el juego más nominado (presente en 7 categorías) sea Red Dead Redemption 2. El trabajo de Rockstar Games, como siempre, es colosal, eleva la vara. Y con estos premios sus mismos colegas parecen estar reconociendo todo eso.
Pero ojo, que tampoco se olvidaron de otras grandes obras del pasado año, como fueron God of War y Marvel’s Spider-Man. Ambas exclusivas de PlayStation 4 suman seis nominaciones cada una, apenas un escalón abajo del de vaqueros.
